Talk Already Beginning About Next Week
(Wednesday, January 28, 2009) – Talk has already started about winter weather next week. Below is a scenario presented by the U.S. model GFS. Low pressure near the Gulf of Mexico at sunrise Monday, coupled with upper level dynamics produces a significant snow for areas of West TN to the left of the dotted line. This winter storm situation does NOT include the prospects for ICE. We’ll see how this evolves over the next few days:

Eddie : Am I reading your Map Right ?
5 to 7 Inches Of Snow here in Jackson ?
Is that a Foot or More Near the Tn, Miss., Ala. Border ?
That will be a BIG SNOW.
I think the last time we ( Jackson ) had 7 Inches or More was February 14, 1988 when 10 Inches fell.
Because that area you are talking about is RIGHT of the dashed line that would NOT be snow. That would be all rain. Otherwise you are reading it correctly.
