Warmer But Wetter Pattern to Begin Work Week

December 7, 2008 Eddie Leave a comment

(Sunday, December 7, 2008) – Following a mostly sunny but unseasonably cold Sunday, West Tennesseeans will see the chill back off for a few days and a storm system bringing us some rains the first half of the week. The upper patternh50 shows the mean trough is back a little further to the west by Tuesday morning but a shortwave will be swinging through the central plains.  This will drive the surface storm feature into our area by Tuesday.  The energy and moisture tap should provide us with the possibility of 1 to 2 inches of rain between Monday night and Tuesday night.
