Great Spring Weather Settling In…

5:00am- Morning satellite images showing virtually no clouds at this hour.

We are being protected by an upper level ridge of high pressure that is surpressing the development of clouds.  So the closest clouds to us are over the central plains and for the most part little if any rain is falling from those clouds. 

The morning weather map…

…shows surface high pressure over the eastern states.  That places the West TN area nicely in a southerly wind flow on the back side of the clockwise circulation.  Temperatures today will warm into the 70s region-wide. 

This weather will hold through Thursday night.  A storm system forming over the plains will move close enough to bring showers and thunderstorms to us by late in the day Friday and Friday night.
