Cold Front Pushing Through W. TN

5:00am – Radar at this time showing thunderstorms pushing through W. TN.  This is generally along a cold front that is pushing through the area. 

Surface reports suggest that a weak low pressure is on the front due west of Jackson over the MS River.  This is enhancing some of the t’storm activity this morning.  Temperatures drop 10 degrees quickly with the front’s passage.  Current indications are that temps will stay in the 50s all day.  Rain chances should begin to taper off this afternoon as the front continues its southward push.
