5:10am- A very quiet weather pattern will continue today through the weekend. High pressure will pass out of the southern plains into the southeast states through Saturday. Much cooler weather will enter the area on Sunday. The cold front, the leading edge of the cooler air mass, will arrive Saturday night. Little moisture is available for anything more than some clouds. However after seeing highs today and Saturday in the 50s, highs Sunday will only be in the 40s.
The peek into next week offers a recovery of milder temps on Monday–highs return to the 50s. An increase in moisture and a cold frontal passage is expected on Tuesday and rain is in the forecast.
